Description
This is an illustration from a tale I am writing! It all started when I drawed the blue-haired maiden and the dragon.This is when they first meet!
Done with watercolor pencils, tempera and acrylics
Edit: I added some blue acrylics to the dragon head and changed a bit the color of the scales!

Yes, the blue dragon! That is only the cover for the handbook where I will rewrite my stories after I wrote them on the comp!

The background on this one is incredible, all the detail in the mushrooms and the trees! Not to mention that fantastic dragon! The blue-haired maiden is lovely as usual! I love all your pictures from this story of yours, they're so beautiful and creative!

I got a waterproof brown pen. But a fineliner is also ok. You can also buy a pot of brown ink at any bookstore. Mostly theyre waterproof. You can add that with a pen or a small brush.

You can buy brown pens and inks everywhere...If you can't find waterproof..just make the lines when the colouring is done!

You really succeed on getting the good texture out of your pencils : it makes possible to "feel" hair, scales, grass or mountains...

i like all the different shades of blue, maiden looks cold and fragile, dragon looks mild but they are cautious touching each other.
also like how the nature on maiden's side is bright and cultivated, but dragon's side is more wild and dark

The dragons side is indeed wild and dark, because he is misterious! And also because I love dragons and dark deep fir forests and I asociate them!
Also, the maiden looks fragile, but she is very strong on the inside! And before she was kinda keept safe from the outside world and now she is free!
