What a haunting message. You didn't use any dark , cold colors, which is why this picture surprises me. I think it has to do with the hopeless expression on the man's face and how he's posed hunched over paper. His tie; I assume he's an office worker, and idk this picture leaves an imprint.
I think you should have painted more color in the fish and the tank; they are the most unique pieces in the piece, and it contrasts against the man hunched over mechanically.
