change from the sesskag ones... I did this watching an inuyasha episode where Inuyasha was having kikyo vs kagome issues and i thought that it was improtant to properly recognize that they are completely different. i know i hate to be compared to someone, namely my sister, and i can see why she feels the way she does. kinda like Snowflakes!
And they really are different people: for one thing Kagome never tried to kill him (not counting possessions of course and she never REALLY gets close)! thats improtant. i tried several angles on this: the top two pictures are the ones i had taken as screen shots and it is of them bathing and looking very pretty. the top right and the bottom left are of the two facing away from each other and the two bottom have some color contrast, one being darker than the other. all together it has a good effect i think.

One but not the same. I don't see Kagome as manipulative or her lacking faith on Inuyasha nor can I see Kikyo kind enough to easily forgive traitors.

lol kikyo had reasons to try to kill him
and inuyasha recognizes they are not the same person. he was never into kagome like he was with kikyo, it was a friendship turned "romance" pretty much out of habit and because he cant fight the automatic pull he has for kagome since shes kikyo reborn.

That's true enough. Yet Kagome accepted Inuyasha in a way that Kikyo never did. Also, RT tends to favor Kikyo more than the rest of the characters in general so it would make sense that the InuKik pair had more chemistry in it and Kikyo with Mary Sue qualities.

i dont think kagome accepted inuyasha more than kikyo, ย because kikyo herself said she identified with inuyasha being hanyo and her reasons for wanting him to change were about making the jewel disappear more than not accepting him as a hanyo.

Idk if it is just me, but I usually start watching an anime and end up hating the main female lead (mostly because I love the male lead so much) - but after a while I start to like them (eg. Lucy from Fairy Tail).

It's actually the reverse for me. I hate the male lead. Inuyasha's an annoying sonuvabitch. I actually like female leads for good reasons like Kagome though I hate others who are just plain annoying. Kagome's situation is more understandable that she would complain. Dealing with Inuyasha everyday will do it to someone. Other female leads are annoying because of OverActingness overload. You know what I mean.

I personally like Kagome more and think she's prettier. That said, I don't like Kikyo, yet I don't dislike her. Kikyo and I have a love/hate relationship. (Between viewer and character, nothing else!

well in the manga they are almost spot on in the beginning but they gradually change as the series continues but i do think that the anime went out of its way to make them really different so no one gets confused.

i like Inuyasha's red eyes with blue irisises (sure i didnt spell that right!) and his voice sounds so scary! not the usual sarcastic, arrogant one! sends chills down my spine... :brrr:

eh, hes got Kagome. she'll keep inuyasha a hanyou. i think its sweet that she hasn't asked him to change for her... she likes him as a hanyou. im not sure how they can have a good life together if he lives longer and ages slower but with love, who knows. how it ends is for us to read (write) fan fictions!
