Description ((Final Update: Finished version))

An image of my character Mamoru Vanguard, father of Ike Vanguard, done in my new style. Decided to do something a bit different with this one and do a different kind of shot/angle of the character. I also decided to add a background of the world, to practice on backgrounds and give more to the image.

Thanks Coral. Seeing all the love and detail you put into your pictures helps me want to try to do more myself. Both you and Oreana always do such amazing jobs with them. I do plan to do more, but I'm also working on my style and concept ideas. @.@ So hopefully I'll it more out soon enough.

Sounds like you have a lot you want to do and improve on. Style and detail take time. With each picture you'll improve and get better at it. Even if it's just a little bit. Eventually you'll perfect your style, and eventually you'll notice that each picture is becoming more and more detailed as well. I know it's a clichΓ©, but it just takes practice. X3 As for the concept ideas, I can't wait to see those (if you decide to upload them). I have this little obsession with concept art. X3; I have tons of concept art books and I'm making sure I'll make a ton of concept artΒ for the world I'm trying to create.Β 
Good luck with all that. But I'm sure you'll do just fine. Β

Backgrounds can be tricky, but keep at 'em and study life to get a good idea how things look.

Yeah, I know. @.@ Big time since I've really slacked on them lately.
Right now also trying to work on some concepts and my style, so still hard to get to it, but I try to do someone now then again...at least more then I did the last few years.

Not even sure if I should put these in my Sonic folder still as they are no longer Sonic style. xD

But the lineart looks really good. If you color this, I cannot wait to see how it will come out. Your new style is improving quite a bit.

Yeah, I figured its time to move into my own style...now that I've gotten echidna to look decent in it, there not much holding me back from doing so. I could always changed the characters...but its so hard no picturing Red as an Echidna.
The sooner I start, the more I can improve on it.
