Yang Xiao Long from RWBY, Volumes 1-3.This was considered the "golden years" for RWBY. The way they looked is kind of what everyone imagines, to the point where the anime spin-off, RWBY: Ice Queendom, was set during Volume 1.
You may have noticed every character I did this for were teenage girls. I admit it's because I've become mostly popular for crossover art, and art that ships Danny with every girl not too old for him.
I'm also not a huge fan of what RWBY became overtime, I actually like the school setting and thought the designs, story telling, characterization and development were just not very great, coupled with RoosterTeeth being an awful company for reasons I won't get into here.
Yang was my favorite character of the series and, as you'd expect, her original design is just better overall.
If you're interested in another character getting this treatment, let me know. Doesn't have to be a girl.
