Description Ah, remembering our childhood, we had great shows. There were shows like Tiny Toon Adventures, The Real Ghostbusters, X-Men and of course, the critically acclaimed show, Batman: The Animated Series. We had some great shows later on, such as Spider-Man, Gargoyles and Superman: The Animated Series. Today, there are some great originals such as Danny Phantom and Avatar: The Last Airbender, but there are some pretty shitty ones like Flapjack, Pucca and TDI. But if you look at great new adaptations of pre-existing shows and stuff, such as Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, The Spectacular Spider-Man and Wolverine & The X-Men, it only shows that kids of today should see updated versions of shows we watched as kids or continuations of shows today that we love. Hey, sit tight and stick around… as I mast- I mean, look at the pretty picture of a brunette I loved in High School, check out…

TOP 10 Shows that need to be made.

10. Godzilla

Godzilla, the king of monsters, is to Japan what characters like Superman is to America, he’s pretty much their mascot next to Pikachu. I remember as a kid I watched the Godzilla Power Hour by Hanna Barbera and the animated series that spun-off from Roland Emmerich’s shitty movie. But what was it about Godzilla that I liked, the fact that it was like wrestling or a Pokemon battle, but no people giving orders and they have the claws and fire blasts to kill each other. That’s what we need more of today, monsters fighting in Tokyo. Number 10 on this list is “GODZILLA, THE JAPANESE VERSION”. Why not? I mean we have some cartoons about monsters, why not the original giants that Japan is most famous for? Just imagine Pokemon, but like 30 stories or higher!

9. A better Zelda cartoon

Ah, if there is anything people should look out for, it’s videogame adaptations. Where as some are awesome, like Sonic the Hedgehog and the Pokemon anime, we had some pretty sucktacular ones like Zelda, Sonic Underground and the terrible Rayman: The Animated series. Ironically, the one I show I reviewed from this list is the one I wish to see. Number 9: “THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: THE ANIMATED SERIES”. We got sword slashing, real baddies, a fleshed out Link and Zelda, no useless originals and fleshing out all needed for this show. WE DON’T WANT “EXCUSE ME, PRINCESS!” WE WANT REAL CHARACTERS.

8. More Kamen Rider

Masked Rider was a great big disappointment to all fans of Kamen Rider. Fans of this show, face it, it SUCKED SO HORRIBLY! This new series is way better in every possible way. So THAT’S what this next addition is. If one show could get more praise than like 6 Power Rangers incarnations, than why not a new Kamen Rider adaptation? I pick Kamen Rider Kiva, or maybe Blade, then again Kabuto looks pretty cool… ADNESS ENTERTAINMENT, please consider this! Maybe you’ll get more money to help speed up your process so it doesn’t take 3 years to finish! Why is Kamen Rider more badass than Masked Rider? No goofy fight scenes, no awful humor, no bad editing of footage, no cheesy music, no oddball characters… and most of all, no Furbus! I hate you… you little, fuzzy duck thing!

7. Another DC cartoon that is neither Batman nor Superman

Don’t get me wrong, I like both these heroes. To be honest, they’re the only ones DC ever puts on TV. Even when one was made, Static Shock, it still had Batman and Superman, as guests, but still… What about guys like Green Lantern, The Flash or Wonder Woman? These guys have so much potential to be more than just guest stars! Seriously, DC, Warner Bros, give your extra heroes more love by giving them their own shows without needing Bats or Supes as guest stars! With Green Lantern First Flight out and the upcoming Green Lantern movie, that’s the perfect time to put Green Lantern out there as himself… and make sure he’s Hal Jordan!

6. Ghostbusters

With Ghostbusters: The Video Game out and new Ghostbusters comic books, it seems appropriate to release a new Ghostbusters cartoon. First off, make sure it’s the originals; I mean Peter, Ray, Egon and Winston. No tech geek, no crippled, no Latino slacker, no Goth… Sure it might take place in modern times, but that’s no problem, I mean how long have the Scooby Doo gang been in their 20’s? The Ghosbusters could still be young, but this time make them look more like the live-action selves, I’d recommend the artist who drew them for the Wii Version! Let him know I said that… I just want to see more of the Ghostbusters blasting ghosts, interacting with each other in a comical way, and have Slimer mess around with Peter!

5. Digimon

Digimon, Digital Monsters! After so many years, we were finally treated with a new Digimon series, known as Digimon Data Squad, and was not heard from again! Sure, a person could only have one Digimon, but at least it could talk and change back to normal! Japan, please release a new Digimon series where the kids DON’T turn into Digimon, DON’T have the same rookie Digimon as past characters, DON’T say Warp Digivolve when going to Ultimate (Falcomon to Crowmon was perfect) and only the main two partner Digimon have 3D Ultimate and Mega Digivolutions. Make them teens if you want, that way I can say the female is attractive without it seeming awkward.

4. Sonic the Hedgehog

Sonic the Hedgehog, one of the most well known game mascots ever. Out of all the characters out there, if he had a new cartoon, it would have more to work with now. What should this show have that others didn’t? First off it should be the other way around, it SHOULDN’T have something the others had… original characters. No Scratch and Grounder, no Sally, no Chris Thorndyke… only characters who have been in the games story-wise. I want to see Sonic’s buddies… no Sally or Bunnie, and not just Tails and Knuckles, but Amy, Shadow, Rouge, Silver, Blaze and more… Sonic X was on the right track, but had to F it up with having them come from “Mobius” and give them 4KIDS voices that replaced the Sega cast and messed up pre-existing stuff, like Ultimate Lifeform and no Live and Learn. It could follow the games like Spectacular Spider-Man does to comics. It could start with arcs following these games in order: Sonic 1, Sonic CD + Sonic 3, Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2, Sonic Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic Next Gen, Sonic Unleashed… if not then just have Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow and Silver as main characters at least. Well, maybe have one original character, a human boy who is way more likeable than Chris, more braver, charismatic and fleshed out, and if they have to bring Princess Elise in… hey, at least she wouldn’t be falling for a blue hedgehog! Oh... and no 4KIDS voices! Bring back Ryan Drummond as Sonic, David Humphrey as Shadow, Scott Dreier as Knuckles and no Jason Griffith!

3. Hellboy: The Animated Series

If you’ve seen the Hellboy movies, both live-action and animated, than this is something you’d love. Ron Perlman, the only guy who has done Hellboy, is just perfect for the role. Just hearing him do that Hellboy voice for 22 minutes straight alone would make me watch this! Seeing him beat the crap out of the Boogeyman, aliens, demons and pretty much everything kids were afraid of one point or another and talk smack to them the way he does would make this an awesome Adult Swim series.

2. A new Transformers that is drawn well, takes itself more seriously and has Peter Cullen

It’s no secret that next year we’ll have a new Transformers series. Still, the first thing that comes to mind is why not rehire Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime? I mean, if he could in the live-action films, and other actors reprised their roles in Transformers: Animated, why not? And while we’re at it… how about using more G1 Autobot names in the main cast? In fact, give us a huge cast of characters, both Autobot and Decepticon! Think about it, Hasbro, the more characters you have in the main cast, the more toys you’ll be able to sell! Also, no human supervillain like “Professor Princess” or “Angry Archer”, give us Decepticons darn it! But Transformers: Animated did have some great actors, so keep Phil LaMarr as Jazz, Corey Burton as Ratchet and Tom Kenny as Starscream, that way he’ll be too busy to voice The Sponge!

All right, let’s take another look before I give you number one:

10. Animated Japanese Godzilla
9. Zelda with roaming around, sword slashing and no “EXCUSE ME”
8. Kamen Rider
7. A DC cartoon with no Batman or Superman
6. Ghostbusters: Animated
5. Digimon
4. Sonic with only the game characters
3. Hellboy
2. Transformers with Peter Cullen and more Transformers to like

It’s…
1. A new Marvel series made by Greg Weisman

It’s no secret that I am a huge fan of The Spectacular Spider-Man! Often seen as the Batman: The Animated Series for the new generation and for Marvel, it made me wonder… why shouldn’t it be? Why shouldn’t Greg Weisman make another Marvel cartoon after this? After he’s got 5 seasons of out favorite web slinger, why not add more Marvel heroes to the mix? How about an Invincible Iron Man cartoon, as we haven’t had a truly decent one since that short lived 90’s cartoon… and DON’T get me started on the cel-shaded CG cartoon on Nicktoons! Hell, we could end up having the SPECTACULAR MARVEL ANIMATED UNIVERSE as the first Marvel Animated Universe wasn’t that successful. Spider-Man Unlimited and Avengers: United They Stand were considered the last of that universe… for me, it was all over after Spider-Man: The Animated Series. Aside from Iron Man, who else could Greg Weisman do? Hulk? Ms. Marvel? Thor? Captain America? Seeing as how the show is named after a comic series, why not “The Invincible Iron Man” or “The Mighty Thor” or “The Uncanny X-Men” or “The Incredible Hulk”… yeah, I know that one is so overused, but still… you get what I’m saying. I love what he’s done to the web slinger, now I’d love to see what he’d do the rest of Marvel’s heroes…

Maybe your Transformers Series Would've been like G2 With the Cast from the X-men 90's Cartoon back in 1993-1996 not the G1 3D Rebroadcast

Let ME handle the cast.

Obviously, cast Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime. There is NO ONE in the Universe who could do a better Prime.

THEY cost more money.

Besides, as I said, Peter Cullen is GOD to any one else who dare voice Optimus.

Well...

I agree that I would be glad to have a new Godzilla serie to watch. Sure it could be pretty cool if they just mind to do it.

I'm totally for a new Digimon series, with for most the same conditions than you. Except that I would prefer ALL heroes have digimon partner with mega level. And I add a few things, such as : no more Royal Knights as villains (can't bear seeing the heroes fight Gallantmon), no more government agent as heroes, and, please, more than just three heroes!

As for a new Marvel show... well... what about one with the Avengers or Spider-Woman ? And a good one, this time... Oh! And what about one about Toxin ? After all he's one of the three major symbiotes...

Well, Iron Man felt like he needed Weisman. Spider-Man and Iron Man always struck me as the Superman and Batman of Marvel. Spider-Man wears red and blue and always puts the needs of others ahead of his own, like Superman. He is animal themed, used tools and became a hero after the loss of a loved one like Batman. Iron Man has no powers, is a multi-millionaire and uses gear like Batman, and can fly and has Superman esque strength in the armor.

I see what you mean...

Well, Iron Man is one of my favourite Marvel heroes, to be honest. Actually, he might even be my second favourite just after Spider-Man. But there are already a show with him : ''Iron Man: Armored Adventures''. Guess you must dislike it, but I actually find it quite good. Maybe that when it will be finished, they will do another Iron Man cartoon, who know...
