Meet the Maker Day 2: How you Started
I started designing plushies in 2013 as a challenge from a friend. I had no idea how to start, no sewing experience, never used a sewing machine before 😆... But I loved the challenge!
He bought a Pony pattern for me (from valleyviolet ), but me still being clueless of all the sewing terms and how to actually use a pattern, I spent full days doing failing at it. Even though a ton of things went wrong and I was nowhere close to making anything resembling any sort of creature...it was still a fun process. 😅
After days of determination and trying I finally started understanding how stuff goes together. And my first Pony plushie was done! (and completely hand sewn as I still had no idea how to thread a sewing machine haha)

Next step for me was to attempt to make a Dragon. Even though I had barely any sewing experience and no experience at all designing patterns I managed to bring my drawing to life and create my first Dragon - Manu! 🐉
The joy I felt was unreal and I fell in love with the process and the dragon prototype. He is far from perfect but never leaves my side. 💚
