Description
I made a frost gryphon a while back, and thought I'd bust one out for Christmas. I don't make a lot of gryphons because they aren't as much fun as the dragons and ponies ( sooo many teeny tiny feathers O_o) , but every now and then I just feel like making one. I think this one turned out even cuter than the original

Cool, I actually just bought my own background paper so that way my pictures will look nicer with my sculptures.

If I ever manage to snag a commission from you I'll be asking for a Gryphon. I ADORE the way you make them, they are always so cute and perfect, like little jewels. This one is a perfect example emphasised by the mica powder, shimmering over him. Those little tiny claws and all the feathers just make him superb.

Did you leave your fingerprints in his ear on purpose? It looks fine, it's a good texture thing.

The ears are so small on my ponies and gryphons, it is almost impossible to make them fingerprint free. And I actually kinda like it, sort of a "mark of the artist"

I checked the FAQ page, and my question wasn't there so, I tried making a griffin (gryphon) once, and it turned out nicely except for the tail. How did you make the lion's tail shape so perfectly, especially since you used two colors? The transition's so smooth, and the tip didn't lose its shape at all!

I carefully rolled the two colors together then shaped the tail. I can't really explain how I got the perfect shape, that just comes down to practice and muscle memory
