A fantasy race from the Dungeons and Dragons game, the gith were once the slaves of the mind flayers, serving them both as a workforce and as food. But eventually the slaves rebelled, led by a woman called Gith. Due to philosophical differences, the race split up into two, one part of which followed Gith herself and naming themselves "Githyanki" - "the children of Gith". Today they live in the Astral Plane, using their powers to attack other races.

Done in pencil and inks, and based on my mental image of the 3rd edition D&D Monster Manual illustration by Sam Wood.
