My first assignment for my drawing class

I have been really wanting to draw something outer space related lately, and this was what I came up with. The assignment was to draw anything, as long as it was not in color and that a minimum of 2 hours was spent on it. I played around with different compositional ideas a bit, but I settled on the larger planet emerging out of the right corner, and the smaller coming out of the top left corner, with the light source being between the two planets. I also tried to add some stars, but I'm not sure how successful I was
