Description My friend Erin's having a baby and does not want a traditional baby shower cake. She wants a dragon. The idea was to make something that could be printed out on edible paper, that was not too gender specific, but had blondish-red hair (since most of the family members are born with that particular color). As it is done, if she needs a color changed, it's not hard to do a color shift, but this is good enough, otherwise.

This is very cute! I love the idea and for its intended purpose, it's perfect. My only suggestion would be, if you wanted to improve it, you certainly don't have to, would be to refine it a little more so it looks less like a cake decoration and more like an art-image (if that makes sense). I guess what I'm looking for here is something a bit more... dragon-y? I don't really know, exactly. I think I want more realism and less cartoon-ish.

I really like the concept. It's so at odds with what you normally think of when you think dragons. They usually kidnap damsels, burn things, and guard treasure. This one's protecting a baby, which is down-right sweet. Very well done!

The girl it was intended for loved it, but her mom is obsessed with Puff the Magick Dragon (which is even more cartoon like), so, that's probably going to go back to the blond hair color...

I would like a tad more realism, but I'm not really that good at drawing (not my main interest, either)...so it's likely to stay much as it is.

Oh it's adorable as it is. I just like to add a suggestion to all my comments. I feel like too many people just say things are nice without saying why or what could be done to improve it. I like getting comments that tell me how I can be better, so I try to give them as well.

Thank you. And I appreciate that, very much.

Just can't do so much with this one.
