People always ask or do searches for the information.

Can you be more specific?  How do you know what to and not to do for Astarte?

As I said, asking, specificalyspecifically asking to the creator of the project itself because it is it who decides and knows about the concept.

Very interesting!

So, what went differently, biosphere-wise? Are there still prisitichampsids, Mesonychids and Gasornithoformes? Are there entirely new orders of ungulate and cetacean? Sounds exciting. XD

That's a great map! But shouldn't the amazon basin be flooded as well?

I'll have to discuss this with the owner of on the map
But, I must say that in eocene maps is never showed a flooded amazon basin, maybe because the terrain was more elevated, and this map is based more in the eocene geography

Why would an ongoing eocene stop or hinder the formation of a basin in the amazon?

To be honest, this is one of many scenarios where you do not think about "how it happened" or "what caused that", but "what would happen to life after this divergence".
It is not the beginning but the journey that matters

for another explanation, aliens

Ah, aliens I actally thought of having an alien race suck up part of Fallow Earth's oceans. But realised it was farfetched
