Autumn had set into the land and was rapidly setting into winter, some mornings Artumis awoke to tiny patches of snow that had come with the Fall rainstorms. Artumis had felt it a good idea to get Shade-Wave into the habit of fishing, since the silly git loved being in water so much, before winter truly set in and survival took priority over everything else. Today saw that plan continued from its start as Artumis set Shade-Wave loose upon a fishing hole that the locals praise as holding a diverse population of fish.

Shade-Wave took to the water with a good will and played about under the water’s surface with near total disregard to the fish in the area. Noticing when a pure black tokota with darker markings and scars drawing several lines diagonally from its right brow to the left side of the toko’s mouth. The stranger was chasing fish, Shade-Wave decides to chase the fish too what fun!

Artumis, recognizing the new Tokota as Rhaegar and knowing that Shade-Wave -for all her lack of wits at times- could take care of herself, chose a comfortable spot and began to read Wings of Fire. She was a decent chunk in when she noticed another presence behind her, partially closing her book and turning slowly Artumis prepares for a confrontation. The young woman relaxed almost immediately when she saw it was Kiwi, a creature Artumis had come to learn was called a Kukuri, remembering that though she was annoying at times Kiwi was otherwise harmless and returned to reading her book.
