Blood-lust quenched and energy fading as the sunlight behind dark clouds, it was all he could do but collapse onto the freshly-torn earth where his beloved mother rested. Exhaustion chased away the wrath, the hot, burning coils now unraveling into a tormented, heavy tangle of grief and regret. His claws brushed against the soil, pushing over the wilting lilies left before his previous departure. It was then he closed his eyes, tears staining his cheek, and eventually, he sobbed himself softly into a restless, tormented slumber."
