Its 5AM in the morning at this rural setting as a eastbound Norfolk Southern freight train heads east out of Leetonia, Ohio towards Conway yard near Pittsburgh, PA. This is a half hours drive from Youngstown, Ohio.I went to Cleveland the previous day for some railfanning around there and stopped to do some night shots around Leetonia. One thing led to another and I spent the entire night and following morning there.

It's a cool effect with the light trail, but I've seen similar pictures where it stood out much more and was much brighter. The scene surrounding the tracks is also a bit dim. Displaying the motion of something this way is still a really cool effect.
