Summary of art pictures are fun to do.

It's been an interesting year for me, mostly because nothing that happened was what I expected. I expected, at the turn of the year, to get my mission papers in, and have been on my mission this whole time. But that didn't happen as quick as I hoped, and to be honest? I'm grateful. It's been a wonderful year, and I can see the Lord's hand in that, in causing me to wait. Because I learned a whole lot in this year, I had many wonderful experiences...overall, it prepared me to go on my mission, to where I now feel really ready.

As far as my artwork goes, I don't see much of a dramatic improvement, but I do see a greater care for quality. I had very little artwork at the start of the year that was really worth posting with this. But towards the end, I had a lot. So I'm glad for that.

2013 was a very good year. Some highlights for me:

- I finished NuzRooke

- I self-published The Arcandin

- Khoa and I became boyfriend and girlfriend

- I got my mission call, of course! To Sacramento, Spanish-speaking!

- I read The Lord of the Rings for the first time, all the way through

- I went to my first anime con where I had an Artist Alley table (subsequently went to two more as well XD)

- I played (and fell in love with) the game Journey

- I read the manga Bakuman (also fell in love with it)

- I was in and helped with two local theater productions

- Samcat left on her mission, too

Really, the bulk of events in 2013 weren't that noteworthy...NuzRooke, the Arcandin, and Khoa were the big ones for me. Mostly because I spent the year quietly preparing for my mission. I had countless wonderful teaching experiences, and I learned so much, but I couldn't name each of those. I read a bunch, and enjoyed quite a few stories. And I hope, in this year, you guys enjoyed some of my stories as well!

It's been a good year, 2013.
