So, I made a little drawing for my bus driver, who was really nice to me when he didn't have to be, as just a little thanks to him. I just really appreciated what he did, and wanted to express it to him in more than just words.I'm too tired to take a picture under my desk light like I usually do lol, in case anyone was wondering.

That is really sweet, I bet your bus driver was overjoyed to get this. Your work is extremely clean and sleek, and the color looks solid and really beautiful. I also love the use of the white outline to really make the piece stand out even more.

Thank you! Yes, he loved it, and was in awe to learn I'd drawn it. I like using white outlines on a lot of my pieces. Sometimes I use a white pen, and other times, I use different mediums/techniques. It's just a way to, like you said, make it stand out more.

Yeah I definitely agree, I love using outlining in my work as well, only occasionally with white but always with bold black or thin black. I should definitely start using white more though, I love effect of it! It brightens the whole thing

Thank you!!! Hopefully I'll get a chance to do some in commissions or personal art quite soon. I ordered a bunch of preserved hollow gourds to paint for this fall and Halloween, and they seem like they would look great with some white outlines around whatever I paint on them!
