Vin lived in a quiet household with two Singulari parents. While both were strict, they did truly love their son and often showered him in gifts when they had the chance to. They were not rich, but they were almost leaning towards being poor. It never seemed to happen, so life was well. Vin did not particularly mind the situation they were in, and he couldn't have asked for better parents.
Soon, when both parents got better jobs and brought more money to the family, Vin was given a younger sister. Thankfully, there was enough income to support the whole family, and nobody was left starving. Though, everything slowly began to fall apart as his father was fired for a foolish reason, and his mother began to grow ill. At the time, Vin was twenty years old, so his parents advised for him to move out, and for him to take his ten year old sister with him. As much as both the children disliked the idea, they agreed to it. It would give their parents an easier time, and they could live somewhat peacefully without having to worry about two more mouths to feed.
