Nope. No faking. Haven't you watched movie 7? He seriously got shot in the head with an arrow (Nami and Sanji freaking out in the backround is a good indicator).

I tend not to like the anime as much as the manga...esp if its dubbed in English version. So I wait to watch the Japanese versions with subtitles. I've seen too many good storylines f$%ked up by translating it into English.

One fave, Yu Yu Hakusho, was REALLY messed up, first the original animators (Japanese) messed up parts of story, then got worse by translating into English , not only the storyline but the horrible, HORRIBLE, accents they give characters in the English verisons of animes.

SO how the h... how did the movie get Usopp to survive a ARROW to the FOREHEAD???? Its scenes like this that convince fans that Usopp is like Wolverine ...survives any wound .... lets face it, even Luffy and Zoro have NEVER taken a direct shot to, and ALL-THE-WAY-THROUGH, the head! If they get shot/hit there, it just bounces off, not go through the brain.

It's not EXACTLY the anime, per se, it's one of the movies. They can't really get a chance to mess up the movies as much because they aren't based on anything.


Technically, the arrow got twined through his hair, but he's still TOTALLY like Wolverine. LUFFY AND ZORO ARE PANSIES! XD (not really but you know what I mean) I really suggest you watch it; Movie 7's the second best to Strong World.
