Well this image was...Fun. I wanted to draw Pokemon completely different to how i normally do with a realistic twist (but still true to there appearance) so i through i start off with the eeveelutions (since they my Favorited <3) i rather like how this came out. Umbreon is my fav out of the eeveelutions. Sylveon is still growing on me but im beginning to love it the more i draw it.Some of them were referenced from google, Mostly from real animals (mainly foxes, dogs and cats oh and rabbit for umbreon lol)

most people assume that they are all foxes and even some cases wolves
in my opinion of the eeveelutions
eevee(rabbit/cat/fox/)
espeon(cat)
leafeon(cat/plant/fox maybe raccoon due to the cry which sounds similar to me)
galceon(cat/fox/dog/maybe a beaver due to the flat tail I mean no feline or canine has a flat tail)
sylveon(cat/rabbit)
umbreon(cat/rabbit)
jolteon(dog especially how it behaves in the anime and games)
flareon(pomeranian/cat/fox)
espeon(cat it acts just like one in the games and anime)

thank you for liking image and im glad im not only one who believes eeveelutions are based of multiple animals and not just general foxes or cats ^_^. or wolves (which i find weird since none of them seem to be based off wolves to me )

opps I forgot my opinion on vaporeon :sweat:
vaporeon I see (otter/cat/dolphin due to tail/fish)
I know right I also feel that way for most pokemon too
my opinion on lets say pikachu (rabbit/mouse or some other rodent/ cat because the head is not like a normal mouse or rabbit head shape plus in the anime it had canine teeth)
I think that it is insane that people would think the umbreon is mostly fox while it has retractable claws!
and the eeveelutions are not the only ones people like to think as wolf pokemon either.

Haha that ok. Otter,dolphin and cat is what I used for my inspiration for vaporeon in this picture, I hate when people turn vaporeon into seals
I agree ^^ that all Pokemon are not based off one animal but based off mixture.
Urh annoys me to hell when umbreon is betrayed as fox or dog, to me always be rabbit cat.
What other Pokemon do people think as wolves ?

absol, the mightyena line, the houndoom line, lucario, the legendary beasts, and the manectric line

I hate that to. When you can tell that (jolteon mostly based more off dog) is nothing like cat and others mixture of cat fox and other animals. Some people are just stuiped and really stubbon. I seen loads of arguments on people drawing of animal they based off -_-.
Or trying force there idea what Pokemon based off onto that person

Houndoom. Doberman ( how you spell it?) the legendary beast urh don't get me started on them. They not worth hassle turn realistic.
Manectric I'm not really sure what based off but it has wolf/dog like face.

it's just that they cat obsessed people will complain if anyone draws them as other animals
yet jolteon looks nothing like a cat at all especially the muzzle and those legs heck some heading breeds as well as spitz

in my opinion Manectric is a dog.

To me suicune is quilin mixed with dog and cat aspects. (Dog muzzle cheetah like body)
Raikou is sabor tooth cat mix
And entei to me is foo dog. Legendary lion type thing like foo dogs are.
But my opions to others are prob wrong but I don't care because that my view of them.

to be honest I do see suicune having some canine due to the long snout or at least something with a long snout.

and what's worse it that many people seem to think that their behavior is okay yet they bash another aboos

well that is true XD
I also have a theory for why jolteon might not have much of a tail and why it's fur turns spiky when angry or scared.
my theory is this when eevee was evolving into jolteon it started to grow longer fur that was at least double coated or more. it was changing from brown to yellow and it did keep it's white neck collar from it's eevee stage. during the same process it's tail was begining to grow more fur however the tail was changing from straight to curly. like dogs in real life jolteon might raise it's hairs on it's body when it is excited, angry or nervous.
