Description An interesting composition I saw from a fellow photographer. I took my own rendition and ran with it. A somewhat different workflow to my usual shooting style as this was a panorama shot with a fisheye. The entire scene was 180 degrees of view and wide in height.. So I really had to find a solution instead of shooting 15 tiles of wide angle shots which would be quite painful considering the board walk can get quite busy with passing people.

Another challenge was the distortions.. so... I guess as 2013 ends.. the fruits of my continuous practice and experimentation can be seen in this image. Hope you like it and have a great new 2014 !

Camera Info:
Canon 5d Mk 3 | Canon 8-15 f4L Fisheye | ISO 100 | 1/40 sec | f 9.0 | focal length 15mm (7 tile single raw panorama with fisheye defished before stitching)

I've been reading that a single row pano with a fisheye can be very effective and this is a great example of the technique.

Do you stitch manually or use something special?
