Description "Finari walked through the dark marble halls of the five-hundred foot tall Vil'Morvoth in search of Vilsindris. It was Creation Day: a day where everyone was at peace, celebrating the creation of Elliandor and the gods who made all of life. It was a day for kinship and love, and none were meant to be alone. Finari left the festivities of the feast below after noting that Vilsindris was not counted among those in the celebration.

Approaching Vil's chambers, the doors were open and a roaring fire burned brightly in the hearth opposite of the large canopy bed. Finari saw that the glass balcony doors were open, and standing at the edge was a lone figure creating a silhouette among the snow that fell. Finari stepped outside, the wind blowing at folds of her skirt. The crescent moon glowed brilliantly in the lavender dusk, casting it's silvery-purple rays upon the albino flesh of Vilsindris. Finari stepped behind her old acquaintance, she who was once an enemy, now much more than a friend. She wrapped her arms under Vil's, and kissed the point her her pointed, scaly ear, then said: 'Hey, friends should not be alone tonight.'

Vilsindris continued to look off into the sky, the oldest known Stravost'Kai in existence, more than a thousand years, and yet her body looked no older than thirty namedays. The somber Vil leaned her back into Finari's chest, and Finari smiled as the frigid wind embraced them."

This is a very short story that I just wrote, it doesn't really pull from my main series, but I feel it has its place. It's about how the strangest of friends can be made even among those we never thought possible. I won't go into the full details, you'll have to read my books for it to make full sense, but I'm very happy with how this piece turned out. I even turned it into a desktop wallpaper for my computer!
