I know some people have missed my paintings where you discover the smaller details as you see the closeup. And also some more fantasy like paintings. But I have been bussy with the Drakenborg/LaVeau projects but here is something that I instead of sleeping due to my son having the stomach flue, I spent the night and some hours on the day on painting

tho that may not be your intention,, it works like that for me,,, specially since the monarch butterfly is having a hard time here in MX.
I know, the wings of your creature arent those of a monarch, tho ,, Id like to think about it like that. Feels more positive impact.
PS: I have a fantasy art piece taht Id like to share with you,,and it is indeed about monarchs, hope I can have the chance.

well, i'm at a LAN (a place were loads of computer geeks plug their computers together and play games) ..any way i saw this, and by acident said 'fuck me thats gourous!' rather loudly...so yeah any way loads of ppl crowded around my laptop and prettymuch said the same thing
you said you used a graphic tablet, i myself have brought one a couple of days ago, i've experamented with and finding it so much easyier and fun! i really love the way you've done your trees and skin! and would love to know how to get that kind of effect!

The trees/background are a DAZ3D background scene that I played with and used as reference.
The skin... hard to explain how I do, I just do it
And yes a tablet is really great to have its much easier to get those thin and soft lines as with a pencil!

well these are just small verisions. Hopefully people buy the big print and they can see the "paint"
thats why I always link to details, so people can see that they are not photos.
But just by zooming out, making a big piece smaller, does a lot to what you see!

With having the finished piece available as print for others to buy-
around 100 dollars + printing and shipping which is about 25-30 dollars.
If you want it for your self then its 200 dollars + printing and shipping costs.
However in both cases, you get a smaller file aswell with water mark with your name and my name in the corner for you to use online.
