Oh wait I remember now, its where you have a black piece of carbon paper (?) and you use a penny or some sharp tool to remove the surface layer, yes very cool. I'm in college...so I don't have access to that kind of material unfortunately

What is scratchboard, I mean I do sketches on paper with pen and pencil right now. I used to work with Photoshop and other programs when I was younger, but it's been awhile

Its a type of thick cardboard thats covered in a thin layer of paint then you would use a type of tool used for it, and scape off the paint with it.
