Look what a whole weekend with no parents does to me. It makes me go art crazy 
At least in a good way. I've successfully made a huggable Maine that will not maim or kill you in anyway when done so. It was interesting to develop a pattern for his EVA helmet and also to note this is the Maine as seen in Reconstruction and Revelation as his shoulders are CQB and EOD. He can be by his buddy Washington now 
Best combo ever besides from Church and Caboose. So friggin' fluffy and soft with the fleece too Please if you are interested in receiving a Halo Buddy of your own or how they are made then drop me a comment or message.

I have templates for each of the pieces in order to prevent any mistakes and wasting fabric. This armor was made from blizzard fleece. Since Maine's helmet and shoulders are new, I've gone into Halo 3 in order to get reference pictures of them all. Once the armor is cut out I begin the process of gluing on the armor using a strong fabric glue that has proven to hold up extremely well.
I do this carefully in order to prevent any from getting onto the side of the fabric that is the glue side. Also I use pins in order to secure pieces and allow for the glue to dry and get a secure hold. After that is clean up and then he is good to go and ready to be hugged.
