I do love it when there is a bit of humour in an otherwise serious situation. It is little things like that which amuse me and make the characters more... interesting

Same here. Also I find fantasy can end up being a bit... not sure what word to use, pompous perhaps, if it takes itself too seriously. But then too much humour and it risks becoming irreverant and silly so I try (again not sure if that's the right word, I just write it that way rather than deliberately aiming for it) to go somewhere between the two!

Absolutely right - pompous and far to staid/serious for its own good As you say though, appropriate humour is a good thing and can make your reader bond with the characters a lot easier. You're onto a winner when your readers have a real emotional response to the characters you create (either positive or negative depending on the character).

That fight was so much fun to draw Though my favourite page is the one where Soul shapeshifts (I'm kinda proud of the transformation sequence there ^^)

I just love the whole thing really xD Whenever I read it makes me want to try and make a comic of some sort although I often lack the time. One day I'm going to start one and actually work on it!
