Swimmin in the moonbeams.
This was a gift for a friend some years ago.This is ink and colored penicl. COLORED PENCIL. OH MY GOD. IT SUCKED. My blue died. So sad.

colored pencil is hard, but the way this came out it looks like a jar decoration or something from old-timey times

oh my friggin god, that's gorgeous! i really like the colored pencils! you've brought out some very rich colors with them. the purple water underneath black sky really gives it a night affect, and the smudgy moonbeams are cool. the fact that you have the dark sky on the top, and the dark mermaid in the middle balances the picture out nicely. the splash of red in her hair draws the eye and keeps the picture interesting, since it's a color you don't really expect to see in the scene. this is an awsome pic!
