Description For 's contest. The theme, the 1920's, aka the Jazz Age of America. That's what inspired this.

THIS. TOOK. ME. FOREVER. TO. DO.
Well, not literally, it just felt like forever since I kept crashing my picture-editing software (I've started using GIMP for stuff like this since it's free). That's the downside to high-reasolution pictures...that and the large file size.

And another thing, hands are fucking hard to do, even when you have a referance...and I think I messed up too...oh well.

Still, this is my contest entry. So please vote if you like it, and stare at Alfred's awesome-ness.

i think you mean the Roaring 20s rather than the Gilded Age :> (sorry, history nerd-alert)

I like the coloring, it reminds kinda reminds me of impressionism and van gogh.
