amazing photo, with an amazing model. her expression, posture, and surroundings create such a fierce and freal mood. like a cornered feline. and the way it's composed she seems to pop out of the page.
i hope you get to meet and work with her again.

Your description only makes the savage, visceral feel of this image that much more intense. Wonderful image. Tragic story.

The Story behind it is as powerful as the shot. I do object a little the noise in the image (probably due to compression), but aside that the shot is excellent.

drakosha In reply to lifelessonline [2005-04-03 18:27:27 +0000 UTC]
Noise is due to the ISO being 800, then I magnify it. These shots need noise, they add character to it. Other name of noise is film grain. I preffer grainy images, of higher ISO, when dealing with spoteneus photography. There would have been alot of blur other wise

thank you. Your page... Are you Asatru Pagan, or wiccan. Allas I know not the druid runes, but the runes on your page are nordik?

Woodraven In reply to drakosha [2005-04-03 20:04:57 +0000 UTC]
Yeah. They're the Futhark runes (Norse runes). I'm pagan, but not wiccan. I prefer to leave my self open to all forms of paganism (so I don't really have a sect). If I had to claim one as my own though, it would be Greek.
