AND THIS SHALL BE THE OPENING NUMBER.So yeah, this is my entry for the contest. Not as epic as I wanted it to be, but hey, not my fault. My school's Network Connection help desk is still not helping me, so I haven't been able to open any of my art-related computer programs. Which is, like, awesome cuz I won't be able to do my intern pitch since all my files are basically worthless now. >_<
My Cast:
Luke Skywalker-Joey Richter. This decision is based more off of his performance in MAMD, as his character was a bit of a whiney sissy. lol
Princess Leia-Bonnie Gruesen. Headstrong female lead. Obvious.
Han Solo-Darren Criss. His character had the same douche-baggy "I'm the shit" mentality in AVPM and AVPS, so it's perfect! (FYI: He has the Millenium Falcon Bedazzled on the back of his vest. I got this idea from the Star Wars/Dreamgirls skit at the SDCC 07 Masquerade)
Chewbacca-Brian Holden. "Mmmmmmwwwaaaaaaaaggggh". Can't you just see it? XD
C3PO-Lauren Lopez. Wrap Draco Malfoy in gold foil and we're good to go.
Lando Calrissian-Corey Dorris. Come on. It's not that hard to picture. XD He'd work that cape like there's no tomorrow.
Darth Vader-Jim Povolo. Tall, dark and James Earl Jones' vocal range? Check, check and double check.
The Emperor-Nick Lang. Just imagine him running around in that long, hooded robe cackling maniacally. Yep.
Jabba the Hut-A.J. Holmes. Now you have that image in your mind forever.
Yoda-Dylan Saunders. Hard to see, this is not.
Obi Wan Kenobi-Nick Joseph Strauss-Matathia. The grungy, bearded Jedi. This works.
Boba Fett-Tyler Brunsman. Who else would be able to do all that leaping and flying around?
Admiral Ackbar-Joe Walker. I know it's a small role for him, but can you imagine anyone else all bug-eyed and panicky bellowing out "IT'S A TRAP!!!"?
Biggs (You know, Luke's friend from back home that gets killed in the 2nd movie?)-Richard Campbell. He'll do it justice, I know it.
Ewok Leader-Arielle Goldman. It's like a helpful, slightly annoying, noisy owl with fur.
And everyone else gets to be various aliens/space people!
I did not include Episodes 1-3 because in all honesty, those things are already parodies of themselves.
Bonnie is not amused that she was casted (yet again) as the girl whose hair does funky things.
The knots will take twice as long to condition out this time around.Star Wars is © George Lucas
