  • Weakness: Like all Ultras, Orb's Color Timer is subjected to the three-minute limit. Once his Timer blinks, the Fusion Up of the Ultra Warriors will start to break apart.

Body Features

  • Eyes: Orb has bright blue eyes in most of his forms. In his Thunder Breastar form, his eyes are orange in color and resemble Belial's eyes. In Emerium Slugger form, they take on a shape similar to Seven's and Zero's.
  • Color Timer (カラータイマー, Karā Taimā): Orb possesses an "O" shaped Color Timer.
  • Ultra Armor: Orb has the standard Ultra Armor, being resistant to fire and lasers.
  • Forehead Crystal: Orb has a crystal on his forehead that changes color according to his forms. It can be used to fire beams such as the Triple Emerium Beam or the Knuckle Cross Beam.
  • Protectors: Orb has four metallic pieces on his chest. This feature is present from Orb Origin/Origin The First and is carried over to all of his live-action Fusion Ups, except Emerium Slugger. They are absent from the game-exclusive forms except Leo Zero Knuckle and Power Strong.

Transformation

Gai scans the Orb Origin card in the Orb Ring to bring forth the Orb Calibur and spin its wheel. Then he raises the sword upwards and presses the trigger, causing all four element symbols on the sword to shine and create an energy orb from which Orb Origin rises.

In Ultraman Orb: The Chronicle's first episode, Gai is seen transforming into Orb Origin in real time only using the Orb Calibur without having to brandish the Orb Ring or the Orb Origin Ultra Fusion Card, similar to his transformation as Origin The First.

Orb Origin (オーブオリジン, Ōbu Orijin) is Orb's upgraded original form, as first seen in a flashback of him covered in a luminous silhouette and fighting against Maga-Zetton . This form makes its proper debut in episode 17.

In addition to various beam techniques, Orb uses the Orb Calibur in battle.

Abilities
  • Barrier (バリヤー, Bariyā): Orb can erect a barrier to block enemy attacks. It can be launched at the enemy to stun them.
  • Teleportation: In Ultraman Orb: The Chronicle's last episode, Orb Origin teleported away.
  • Ultra Taiga Accessory Creation: Orb can create a Bracelet Type accessory. He gave this to the Tri-Squad.
  • Ultra Charge: Orb can give his energy to others.
  • Sealing Barrier: The New Generation Heroes can create a barrier to seal a monster such as Grimdo. However, this comes at the cost of their transformation ability, with their devices turning white and unusable.

Weapons

  • Orb Calibur (オーブカリバー, Ōbu Karibā): Orb's main weapon, which is a luminous sword. It appears to grant him access to the 4 elements of nature (Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind). The Orb Calibur itself can be be used as a barrier to protect Orb from enemy attacks.
    • Energy Slash: Orb performs an energy slash by striking the opponent.
      • Crescent Energy Wave: Orb slashes the Orb Calibur towards the enemy, unleashing a crescent-shaped wave of energy and damages them.
      • Kinetic Force: By twisting his body clockwise, Orb can unleash a kinetic backlash that sends his target flying.
    • Energy Counter: Orb can use the Orb Calibur to absorb attacks and use them to counterattack.
    • Calibur Shield (カリバーシールド, Karibā Shīrudo): The Orb Calibur is capable of erecting a circular barrier.
    • Calibur Wheel (カリバーホイール, Karibā Hoīru): The roulette of the Orb Calibur, it can act as a slicer to slash foes. When doing so, it glows white.
    • Elemental Attacks: Based on the Calibur Wheel selections on the Orb Calibur, Orb Origin can perform attacks based on several elements.
      • Orb Supreme Calibur (オーブスプリームカリバー, Ōbu Supurīmu Karibā): Orb unleashes a powerful energy stream from his sword. Should he use it in full power, the resulting blast will be powerful enough to create a city-wide explosion and it slowly disintegrates the weapon before breaking apart once it reaches the Calibur Wheel. According to the Ultraman Orb Super Complete Works book, this beam uses the power of fire, water, earth, wind, light, and darkness.
        • Orb Supreme Calibur: Origium Galaxis (オーブスプリームカリバー オリジウムギャラクシス, Ōbu Supurīmu Karibā Orijiumu Gyarakushisu): Orb uses the power of 8 Ultra Fusion Cards in conjunction with the Orb Supreme Calibur, which turns into a ring of light for Orb to fire his Origium Beam though, while the 8 Ultras fire their signature beams. It results in an extremely powerful attack that can cause a massive explosion.
      • Orb Flame Calibur (オーブフレイムカリバー, Ōbu Fureimu Karibā): Orb creates a ring of fire by making a circular motion with his sword. He then thrusts his sword, throwing it towards the enemy where he traps them in an orb of fire before slicing both the flame construct and the target as well, causing an explosion.
      • Orb Water Calibur (オーブウォーターカリバー, Ōbu Uōtā Karibā): Orb brings both him and the target into a water-like area. He then traps the opponent in a geyser and slices them.
      • Orb Ground Calibur (オーブグランドカリバー, Ōbu Gurando Karibā): Orb stabs his sword into the ground to release shockwaves in a circular formation that would strike the opponent. This attack is strong enough to penetrate the Zeppandon Shield.
      • Orb Wind Calibur (オーブウインドカリバー, Ōbu Uindo Karibā): Orb creates a powerful tornado by swinging his sword in a circular motion. This attack is capable of sending an enemy flying.

Techniques
Special

  • Origium Beam (オリジウム光線, Orijiumu Kōsen): Orb Origin's beam finisher, firstly done by charging energies in his hands, forming a ring of light, before performing the standard "+" sign and firing an energy beam. It was also used along with the Orb Supreme Calibur with the other 8 Ultra Warriors. Due to the colors shown, it is possible that it contains the powers of fire, water, earth, and wind.
  • Origium Saucer (オリジウムソーサー, Orijiumu Sōsā): Orb can fire white buzzsaw discs at his target.

Physical

  • Arm Power (アームパワー, Āmu Pawā): An attack which involves Orb spinning the enemy before tossing them. This requires a lot of brute strength.
  • Orb Punch (オーブパンチ, Ōbu Panchi): A punch attack.
  • Orb Kick (オーブキック, Ōbu Kikku): A kick attack.
    • Mid-Air Kick: Orb kicks the enemy multiple times mid-air with rapid succession.

Combination

  • Mega Kizuna Beam (メガキズナ光線, Mega Kizuna Kōsen, lit. Mega Bond Beam): A combination attack performed alongside Ultraman X. This ability appears in Ultraman Festival 2017.
  • Combination O-50 (コンビネーションO-50, Konbinēshon Ō Fifuti): A tag-team attack with Jugglus Juggler, exclusive to Ultraman Fusion Fight! R/B's Bond. Juggler runs towards the enemy and delivers multiple slashes and ends it with a charged energy slash before Orb leaps in to deliver the final blow.
  • Triple Origium Beam (トリプルオリジウム光線, Toripuru Orijiumu Kōsen): While not physically appearing himself, the aura of Orb Origin fires the Origium Beam along with Rosso and Blu.
