Description You stare at the boy with wide (e/c) eyes, unsure of what you just heard.

“Jack….Frost? Your name is…Jack Frost?”

He adjusted his stance making him look taller and prouder, “The one and only,” he replied with a smirk.

At first, you have no idea what to say, ‘Jack Frost?’ How could this guy be Jack Frost? What made him Jack Frost anyway?

“You expect me to stand here and believe you’re Jack Frost?” you ask, crossing your arms and giving him an annoyed look.

He looks at you, “You don’t believe me?”

“Isn’t it obvious? How are you Jack Frost?”

His eyes narrow a bit, “You don’t believe me…yet you can see and hear me…”

You roll your eyes, “Since when do I need to see to believe?”

You walk around him and continue down the road, Jack’s entrancing blue gaze glued to you as you walk farther and farther away from him. You don’t exactly know where your attitude came from, but you aren’t sorry for it. Everyone just seems to be getting on your nerves these days: first Clary, then your mom, and now this stranger? You’ve had enough of it, you were tired of it! He runs after you.

“WAIT! Can I prove to you that I’m Jack Frost?”

He runs in front of you, blocking your way again. You place your hands on your hips and give him an annoyed look.

“You aren’t gonna leave until I do, aren’t you?”

He smirks, giving you an ‘uh-duh’ look.

You sigh, seeing no way around it. You check the time and your eyes widen: its noon! Only three more hours until your mom got home! You were running out of time! You still had to find the lake, ice skate and make it back to your house to clean up the skates, place them back where you found them and make yourself look like you haven’t been doing anything all day before your mom got home! You didn’t have much time!

You groan, as much as you wanted to fly away from the prison that was your mother, you still had to make it look like your weren’t rebelling her; and that was hard to do with her very close observing eye.

You look back at Jack, “Fine, but make it quick. I need to be somewhere.”

He gives you a smile, showing off his way-to-perfect white teeth. He steps closer to you, and you can’t help but find yourself a little nervous. A boy has never approached you like this before; they were all too busy laughing at the remarks Clary made on your brilliant screw ups in school. You find yourself taking a step back in defense, but Jack just approached again.

“Wha-what are you doing?” you ask, a little nervous by his action.

He smirked, “Trying to prove to you that I exist,” he replied, taking another step towards you.

You step back again, “Well…could you do it at a bit of a distance? It’s kinda creeping me out…”

He look at you with his entrancing eyes, leaning on his staff, “Aww…you’re blushing.”

Your eyes widen and you realize he’s right, your cheeks feel warm and red. You quickly look away from his stare, “I’m not.”

“Yes you are!” he laughed.

“NO I’M NOT!” You shout.

He just smirks and rolls his eyes, “Whatever you say…”

You glare at him impatiently, “I thought you were supposed to be proving you were Jack Frost. Not debating over whether I’m blushing or not!”

He chuckles and stands up straight again, “I don’t know…I kinda like watching you get annoyed at me.”

“UGH! If you’re just gonna kill my time then get out of my way! I have somewhere I need to be and I don’t need you distracting me with my limited time!”

You charge by him, but he stops you by placing a hand on your torso. You glare at him and grab his hand to fling it off; but you then find his grip tighten on yours. Panic begins to spread across your face and you feel yourself blushing again. You try to break your hand free, but his grasp will not give; it’s almost as if his hand was frozen to yours.

“Let go of me!” you demand, trying to back away from him only to find that he’s stronger than you. He pulls you up against his frigid body and holds you there.

“You aren’t afraid of heights right?”

You look at him, your face a crimson red, but more from embarrassment than anger, “What? No. Why are you-“

“Good! Hold on!” he skyrockets off the ground, taking you with him.

You scream at the top of your lungs and grasp onto his body, shutting your eyes tight. The cold, frigid air whips your body, making your bare skin turn red. It was roaring in your ears, but you could still hear Jack laugh at your reaction.

“Put me down!” you scream at him, after you stop screaming.

“You wanted me to prove it to you!” he reminded, holding you closer.

You refuse to look at him, your eyes still firmly shut, “When I said ‘prove it,’ I thought you were just going to create some ice or snow! Not fling me into the air!”

You felt his gaze on you, “So you do believe in me!”

You don’t answer, “Please, just put me down!”

“Not until you at least look at the view,” he responded.

Your curiosity wins you over, and you slowly open your eyes and tilt your head down. You gasp as the scenery of the community is shown before you with a bird’s eye view. Everything is covered in a beautiful white blanket of snow; it’s shining as the faint rays of sun glint off of its presence. You must be about a mile up, but you can still see it shimmer in the gorgeous light. It was incredible! You thought you saw winter from every single view and angle; every image you could think of from icicles to snow owls to frozen lakes and forests; but nothing crossed your mind from seeing it up above.

You laugh and start to smile letting your grip loosen from Jacks body. He looks at you and sees that your (e/c) eyes are lit up with enchantment.

“I see you do like the view,” he tells you smiling, “Believe me now?”

You turn to look at him, your smile stretched from ear to ear and nod with excitement, “Yes! Oh my god! It’s amazing! I’ve always loved winter, but I’d never seen it like this!”

He smiled back warmly, “Glad you enjoy my work,” he responded, “Want to go down?”

The smile leaves your face and you shake your head vigorously, “No, no, no, no! Please don’t!”

He smirked, “I thought you wanted to go down,” he teased.

You shake your head again, “I did, but…not anymore…” you breath, your gaze returning to the beautiful scene below you. You couldn’t believe it; you were flying! Actually flying! And you were flying with the spirit of winter himself: Jack Frost!

You let out a mesmerized sigh and you realize you’re cuddling closer to Jack. He looks at you, a little surprised by the movement, but then he cuddles a little closer to you. You find yourself smiling warmly and your eyes fixed in a dream like stare at the spirit. Then, realizing what you were doing, you broke the trance and moved away.

“Jack…thank you for this experience, but I still have somewhere I need to be…” you say, a little disappointed to break the enchanting flight.

He looks back at you and catches your (e/c) eyes and gives you a little smirk, “We aren’t done yet, I still have something I wanna show you.”

You stare back at him, a little confused, “Um…Sorry to disappoint, but I REALLY need to be at this pla-“

“Trust me, (y/n)! I think you’ll be surprised!” he replied slyly and began to fly towards the ground.

Jack soon began to descend, rapidly increasing speed. You cling to him, alarmed that the ground is suddenly approaching…and FAST!!!

“JACK! We’re gonna CRASH!!!” you exclaim.

“Relax,” he reassures, “We’re fine.”

He continues to speed up and you shut your eyes in fear, expecting to make a hard impact with the ground; but then everything stops.

You open your eyes and find yourself on the ground again. You stare wide-eyed at Jack and realize your still clinging to him. You quickly jump away from him, feeling your cheeks heat up.

“Told you we were fine,” he said smirking.

You look at him and smile sheepishly, then take a look at your surroundings. Your eyes grow wider because you recognize the place: it’s the forest where the wind had whisked you off to!

You mouth drops open as you stare in amazement; a million questions began to flood your head. How did Jack know about this place? How did he know that you wanted to come here? How did he even FIND this place?

You turn to look at him only to find that he wasn’t there. You look up and about but he’s nowhere in sight. You let out an annoyed sigh, “He brings me here and then leaves me here. Wonderful.”

You shake your head and make your way towards the frozen over pond and smiled as you approached its shores. The amazing feeling you had when you first came here flooded your senses again and left you awestruck. You smiled, taking in the feeling as you sat down to put your ice skates on.

Once they were laced up, you double checked the knotting before stepping onto the ice. A thought occurred to you just as you did: you’ve never really ice skated before, why did you even want to do this in the first place?

You wave away the doubt and skate slowly around the rim, getting the feel of the skates. They glided smoothly over the surface of the pond, hardly even skidding if they hit an uneven surface. You smile and begin to skate faster.

Soon, you don’t even know how but, you’re doing amazing twists and turn in the air, landing each of them perfectly without effort. You smile and laugh as the wonderful feeling of skating surrounds you. You do 360’s, triple loops, 180 degree combos and more without even batting an eye.

“How am I this good at skating?” you ponder, “I’ve never even put a pair of skates on in my life!”

You’re skating around the rim again, catching your breath. Another idea comes to you, doing a little skating program. You would make up the moves as you go along, but you figured you’d give it a shot. What did you have to lose?

You skate to the center of the pond and pull out your phone, selecting a song to skate to. You think that skating is usually done to slower or orchestral songs. You didn’t seem to have anything relating to the topic, so you chose “Let it Go” from the movie Frozen. It fit the winter theme and it was pretty slow.

You give it a ten second countdown before it starts and take a pose. Just when the music is about to start, you feel cold hands wrap around your waist.

“Hey there,” Jack greets, taking a pose as well, “Feel like skating a duet?”

Before you can protest at all the music starts and you begin to skate along with it, Jack following your lead. It was playing on speaker so both of you could hear it.

The two of you skate slowly around the rim during the intro and then begin to dance when she starts singing. The two of you move beautifully with it. You are completely unsure of how Jack can read your thoughts on what you’re thinking, but you don’t protest. As the music continues to advance, you begin to do tricks alongside him; sometimes he would fling you into the air and other times he would skate beside you.

The tricks roll out from nowhere, you performing them with great style and elegance and Jack did the same. The music continued to advance and so did the tricks, each move getting more and more dramatic with the music. Soon Jack was by your side again as he lifted you into the air, twirling you above his head. You felt confident in him even though you were thinking about murdering him when you first met.

He brought you down onto the ice, but then you realized that there was no ice beneath you. Jack was making you skate in thin air! You wanted to protest, but when you looked at him he gave you a smirk and continued to whisk you along to the music. He didn’t leave your side while doing this, otherwise you would’ve fallen.

The two of you progressed higher above the ice as the music came to a close. Just as the last held on note rang, Jack twirled you so fast your head began to spin. Then the song ended on the most famous words:

“The cold never bothered me anyway!”

And you and Jack posed after she sang the last word.

Jack you brought you back down onto the ice and slowly let go of your waist. You turn around and look at him, your (e/c) eyes shining. You manage to laugh a little.

“That was…cool,” you tell him, thinking of nothing better to say, “Um, thanks for, y’know, um, doing that…with me.”

You don’t know why you felt so flustered, was it because this weird sprit, stranger person just did an ice skating program with you when you hadn’t even known him for all that long? He looked back at you with his enchanting eyes.

“Oh yeah, sure…that was…fun,” he seemed to be just as flustered.

You manage to giggle a little and playfully push him back; he begins to giggle too. You don’t know how long you’ve been staring at him but you suddenly see the suns position in the sky, and your eyes widen. You quickly check your watch: It was 2:55! You had five minutes to get home before your mother killed you and your life once and for all!
