I thought this little guy is a terrapin, it's pretty adorable.
I've been keeping them as pets as I grew up, it's pretty low maintenance too, and then release them back into the wild with other terrapins when they get bigger,
My mom thought that it doesn't seem right to keep it in a small tank once they grew bigger in size.
But I remember I don't spent Β that much amount of money for a starter tank. That is so costly, mine cost about 15-20 Sing dollars or so for the tank.Β
Perhaps it cos of the difference in climate, that you have to spent more to give it adequate heat.
I used pebbles and stones that I found outside to create its environment and fed it with small fish and vegetables and those can food for terrapins for its supplements.Β
I hope you get to keep one, they are really nice as a pet.

That explained why it is so costly.
They will need a warm environment after all.

I really want one but it depends on how much all the equipment costs to keep them... I saw a starter tank in the pet shop where I took this photo for Β£300 which is a little out of my price range.Β

They can be pretty pricey to take care of unfortunately.Β
I want one too but I have two cats, a dog, a guinea pig and chickens so it's a full house already. lol
Well the chickens aren't in the house.Β Β
