Innocence Lost Part 2:Sunshine It was almost boring, sitting here with so few patients, all of whom spent most of the time sleeping. Bethany sighed, watching a beetle skitter across the floor. "Not like I'd want a lot of excitement," she commented to the irridescent black insect. After the first time leaving her in charge had gone off without the slightest bit of excitement, both Finn and Anders had seemed more okay with the idea of doing it again a few days later. "Boring is good for a clinic. It means no one's dying." The beetle ignored her, continuing on its way.

The monotony was shattered moments later by the arrival of an elf, rough hands and tanned skin evidenci Innocence Lost Part 1: Focus Opposites attract.

That was what They said, at least. Anders had never been one to believe something was true just because whoever They were declared it to be so. And with good reason. They had been proven dead wrong so many times in his life it made his head hurt if he stopped to think about it. Which he tried not to do.

However, the immediate and insistant pull he felt toward the girl all but hiding in the shadow of the blond warrior who strode into his Darktown clinic made him wonder if They might be right this time. She looked like everything he wasn't; quiet, shy, naive... and oh-so-very innocent.
