I used a picture I took of something that I saw somewhere, relating to the band Tool. It could have been a poster or something at one of their concerts, but I'm not sure.I used complex renders of lighting effects in Photoshop CS 2. Basically I was just mucking around with the renders and it turned out like this and then I added a lens flare to add some depth.
