When I found this line in 2004 comic (few episodes, on internet), the pain was unbearable. If Astro takes this decision, it means he crossed his limit and left all hopes. It's terrible.
I also read all Pluto's comic, and I liked it very much; not very much the ending episodes, but it's great and I think every AstroBoy fan should take a look at it.
