This lovely creature was designed by !I've been working hard to properly mold his form into an anthropomorphic version, and I think I have it pretty set, now... I've got his personality and background set too, and I'm very happy with it.
I swapped his blue glow for violet, I hope that's alright by you. c:>

At first glance it looked like a Lucario but on closer inspection it's actually much cooler.

But I hate having my ocs compared to Pokemon and copyrighted characters, as most artists do.

I've never really felt that way about it but I can see how it could be annoying, especially if it happened a lot. =o I tend to worry about names sounding like puns, that's always kind of irritated me.

It's hard to be happy with your own work, but that doesn't mean it isn't good! But, to improve, the best thing you can do is study anatomy and just keep practicing, and do it for yourself only, comparing yourself to others is not a healthy motivation and can be pretty discouraging.
Keep trying, keep improving; that's my motto in art related things. <3

I'm so glad you're happy with what I've done with him so far! I've been sketching him pretty much every night I've had free since the day I got him... and writing his place in my story as well. Mowr is so gorgeous, I was really wanting to do him justice. ;u;
