That may have been the original demographic, but I'm not sure. It's pretty tame in terms of content, and it does
promote good values such asΒ camaraderie and teamwork, but what sets it apart from pretty much every other show
on the network (Apart from reruns of The Land Before Time TV Show) is that it feels more like a typical kid's cartoon
rather than a show for preschoolers; the main characters often get into physical fights with most antagonists, lives
are threatened multiple times throughout the show, and the writing is a bit less simplistic than the kind you would
see in a preschooler program.
