I love clowns. I love creepy clowns (they don't have to be evil or violent just innocuously creepy). The last couple pieces you've posted have played to that love quite effectively.
In my mind I see this image as something trying desperately to entertain the viewer despite it's grotesque and bizarre nature. Disturbing but playfully innocent.
