The second part of my side of the art trade with Dinoboyluke !

This is Luke's original character Lilly from their world 'Ehanasair'. It's a world similar to Earth, except that it's inhabited by anthropomorphic animals.

What this artwork is is Lilly redesigned as if she was my own character and how I personally would redesign her.

Changes:
Lilly was originally a Sonic OC turned into an original wolf character. After a couple of sketches trying her out in different wolf breeds, I settled on the timber wolf while also keeping the pink hue of her fur from the original. (I didn't point this out! But I also wanted to give her a scar, a battle wound from her homelife, and settled for a gash the goes halfway through her her ear.)

I think I struggled with the clothing the most. I felt her that current clothes clashed a lot with her personality and it didn't reflect her state of mind. I was told that she had a harsh upbringing, is struggling with her mental health and is constantly tired, so I wanted what she wore and how she behaved to reflect this. For her casual look, I went with a bit of a punky outfit to give her an edgy-ish vibe. I was also told that she dresses like her friend Tyran, so I made sure to give her a hoodie and jeans to show that to some extent she unintentionally dresses like her friend. For her journey outfit, keeping with the medieval modern theme of before, I gave her a vintage dress with her family crest patterned across the bottom of it and a hood that sits on her shoulders, along with a long sleeved shirt with stockings and high boots to give her the impression that she is covering up and hiding. I'm not 100% happy with how the outift turned out, I'm not sure if it's the colours or the clothes itself? Oh well X3 She's also got a toolbelt around her waist which holds all of her essentials and her equipment.

I still kept the colour palette throughout her design from the original, but I did change where the colours were, added in some purple to replace the yellow, and darkened the tones to make her a bit more appealing and intriguing.
