My project for Japanese class is to draw something that relates to Japan. Of course a lot of the students are drawing anime shows , so I decided to draw something different, which is the Japanese idol group AKB48 . They are an amazing group of girls not only with extraordinary talents but also with strong will power as well. They have started in 2005 and slowly made their way up to where they are now, being able to perform in Tokyo Dome (and around the world), and also winning the 53rd Japan Record award in 2011. They not only give the fans great music, and PV, etc, they remember to give back to the community. They have already donated over $15 million dollars to charities and also have their own charity program called " What can I do for someone? " . They also have their own anime called AKB0048 which is airing their 2nd season in January.

YAYYYY. I finally finished it!! And in 3 days time (I procrastinated alot...) I think it turned out great! but gackk ,this is hugeeee. I drew these on 2 12in x 18in paper; after drawing Yuko I didn't realized I drew them too big so I just added another paper. Also since it was so big it was hard for me to scan, but I did it. My scanner took out some of the colors but oh well. I also edited to put the two picture together and blah blah. It looks really great in person and I'm really proud of this > w <
Oh ! One of my reference was 's 48 chibis work [link] . Other references were found in most of their PV which is on their site vid48 [link]
And I also used a base by ~BattleStorm , which was very helpful [link]
