They say that a man dies twice in his life: The first time is when his heart stops beating, and the second is when his name is forgotten by everyone. The true names of the Sun Knight and his sword brother the Dragonslayer have been long lost to the ravages of time, and even now their titles are fading from those who they once protected.

They were paragons, warriors without equal and loved by all. Living by a code forged from the bonds of brotherhood. It was they who aided the sisters in forging one of the mightiest empire's the world had ever seen. By their deeds the empire was forged and by their blades, Equestria was protected. Their tale is one of valor and bravery, of love and kindness, and, sadly, one of a great betrayal.

So listen well and remember those who once commanded the hearts and minds of the six kingdoms of the Empire. Remember the fallen; and give thanks that those who destroyed the forces of darkness so that we may live in an era of peace. Maybe then we will remember the great beings who gave their lives in hopes that we might live a better future.

It is a story following the adventures of two humans as they assist the Princesses in forging the Kingdom of Equestria.
