Mirko could be considered an odd little one. The kind of individual who would be hard focused on collecting all sorts of berries one moment to be curious about a passing Noctowl the next, quite the scatterbrain, unable to focus on things for too long but this could be due to how perceptive they are. They’re able to notice even the smallest things and get a read on various people and pokemon alike. This perception can also make them quite reactive and easy to alarm, making them quick to do a rash action or accidentally cause issues, which had led to harm towards themselves in the past. Despite this, they are also a very cheery and forgiving person, quick to make amends and try to correct things they had done wrong, though this is fi they realize they had done wrong as they can also be a tad naive and immature, missing social cues and being a bit childish. All of this while being unable to communicate, only the slightest noises being available to them, makes them an odd individual at first glance but they are a good person deep down.

History:It's not known how the small Stunky child had ended up deep within a large forest, nor where their parents were. All that the large man who found him knew was that it was far too dangerous to leave the little one alone. The man, named Radomir, searched for a long time to see if he could find whoever the parents of the child were, all while they were crying and holding the large Ursaring’s hand, but he couldn’t find anyone. This continued for several days until Radomir gave up on finding whoever the child belonged to, and instead decided to raise them as his own.

Radomir was a nomadic person, focused on living off the land and barely interacting with others. This was the lifestyle that little Mirko grew up in and grew accustomed to. They learned how to use nature to their benefit, what is good and bad to eat, how to survive without the advantages of modern life. Perhaps it was this lifestyle that allowed them to connect so deeply to nature, and begin to develop their magical abilities. Radomir had no idea what to make of that aspect of his child, but encouraged them to explore it regardless. The two were incredibly close, always relying on one another, especially as Radomir grew older.

As the years went by, Radomir started to fall ill and become weaker. Perhaps it was age, or something deeper, but all Mirko could tell was that their father figure was feeling worse and struggling more to maintain the lifestyle the two had. Mirko tried their best to keep him comfortable, even using their magic to help soothe the pains and aches that would flare up in Radomir, though there was only so much they could do. Eventually, at Radomir’s request, they helped take the Ursaring to a nearby city and hospital. Though there seemed to be little the doctors and nurses could do, as a week later Radomir had passed away while Mirko was at his side.

The little Stunky was heartbroken, but their father had given them a final task and place to go before he passed. Laying in his hospital bed, he told Mirko of his life before he found them, about how he used to live on an island chain full of life and wonder. He told them how they would find kind people and a place to call their own there, they even still had a plot there even though it would be run down at that point. He then asked for them to spread their ashes on the island, wherever Mirko felt would be best, to ensure that they would go. Mirko knew better than to not follow his advice.
So with their few belongings and a simple urn gripped tightly in hand, they secured a boat ticket and traveled to the Staryu Isles.
