Process or program?

Program is photoshop, inspiration, process was a few small thumbnail sketches on paper, then sketched in photoshop, gather relevant reference materials(wings(angels,birds,etc, medieval armor,helmets,greaves,various metals, model poses and lighting situations,hair, etc). Sketched ideas on paper then sketched them again in ps(for speed paper and pencil is faster for me), chose a pose and designed the armor based on ideas generated from the original inspiration(angels,wings,warriors), decided on lighting and colors to use, rendered based on these decisions, refined more, added adjustment layers to enhance colors and lighting. and time. About all there is to it.

Usually is a lot(depends how you work really), not real sure time wise i tinkered with it a bit every day for a week, still could fix things etc even now.
