While I don't agree with the idea of not having "new" partners in Paper Mario, I do think that creativity really shines if you have a set of limitations (such as canon itself). This guy really proves it. Great story arc with a payoff that is really surprising considering new set of Paper Mario games...

Guess that theses games are set in a different canon then Bombette and Admiral Bobbery. I like to think he was with Mario and Olivia until the very end of their journey
