Fuck yes. I love how this piece came outSo, I'm going for the Scott Pilgrim against the world: 8th evil ex and I figured I'd go and Give Winston a modern look, since I gured "Why make a new villain when I can't top the villain I've already made? : D" So I tricked out Winston with a new modernised/retro look.
using the power of retro-verload, he will own your ass with his cassette tape wire, vinyl record shuriken, boom box bomb blasts, all before dropping a fucking DDR arcade machine on you. WRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! That'll teach ya for dissing the Beatles in his presence.
As for any of you that want an explanation for how a younger Winston ended up in the future well, here's an attempt. 1970's winston stole the deloreon from back to the future, went back in time to get his younger self from the 60's, time traveled and time traveled him forward into the future. Time paradox you say? He's a fucking Munster, bitch! He defies science, logic and physics!
ALSO! This is kind of a protest piece. For 4 years now I've been on DA and seen tons of DA's official contests like this one. and for 4 years now, I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY OF THEM! know why? Because they all have this stupid rule of "Must be a U.S. resident. What the hell!? That rule makes contests suck for people like me that live in the U.K. I mean, really? Why? Why not include other parts of the world too!? So if this piece doesn't win souly because of my not being a U.S resident, not cuz something better earned the spot, then shame on DA. Shame on DA indeed

The contest was to promote the US release of the movie, which is why it's open to US residents only. It's 100% nothing personal (of course there are amazing artists in Canada and the UK and all around the world!), but it was not up to us whether or not the contest was open to everyone
