Honestly, I thought the beige lampshade was overrated. Then again, something needs to work with the white lampshade, otherwise the aquamarine lampshade would have nothing to contrast. The whole lamp was really more of a thematic piece anyway.

Actually the joke originiated in To Boldly Flee. As in the script everyone got for TBF before they started filming it in late march/early april 2012. The thing is since that took over 4 months to finally finish being edited and actually come out, by then all the crossovers and specials also filmed during the 4th year were made as well. Which included the Sad Panda "Forget About It: Top 10 TGWTG Reviewers" which technically was the first time any of the fans saw the joke. However Sad Panda actually got the joke from the TBF script and put it in that video so it was seen first (and then in Phelous's Amityville 4 review) but it still really came from To Boldly Flee.
