I have to admit that I was not really thrilled with the movie, especially since I had read the books that came out back before the movie (and the comics too!) Β It's taken a few years to come back around to enjoying the movie for what it is.

Thanks for your compliment ,and I agree ,it's not a work of art but it's enjoyable enough ,and I read somewhere last year that it'll be rebooted ,which is the trend with Hollywood nowadays ,I hope they do it better this time.

I'm hoping it will not be ... not sure, but I wasn't too taken with the new Conan movie that came out a while ago. Β It just felt like the James Bond movie when I first watched it: flat and lifeless.

It was watchable ,but the general atmosphere was off somehow ,maybe because of the casting ,Jason Momoa didn't convince me as Conan ,maybe because every time I hear the name Conan ,I have a mental image of Arnold waving a big sword in the air.
