Description
I always liked this character even before she appeared in X2. Something about the way she was drawn with the big claws always creeped me out as a kid. I kind of struggling to come up with an original design for her, because I didn't know what direction I wanted to lean. I was toying with traditional Japanese attire and go for the beautiful but deadly look or give her a full on ninja style stealthy look. I chose the latter because I can imagine her being more of a hide in plain sight kind of assassin. Most of the designs I see of her are weirdly outlandish or she's just in some kind of leather skin tight suit. Her original design is kimono inspired so I wanted to stick close to that. I originally drew her with more robotic bits to give into her back story, but it just looked too overly complicated. Either way I like the way she turned out. She's the adamantium laced cyborg assassin, it's Lady Deathstrike!
