Character bg info:

Best friend to Marilynn, they met while in school getting their degrees in engineering. Not having luck from where they were from, they moved out in search of better job opportunities and landed themselves in a desert town that they started a small shop in. While they both do fixing, Beatrix tends to zone in to her craft a little too much, to the point of her outright ignoring anyone who attempts to talk with her while shes fixing anything. She's more abrasive and asocial than Marilynn, but she has a sassier and lax side that usually only comes out whenever shes with Marilynn. As a side hobby, she loves to work on her own engines, modding old cars and trying to make her own vehicles, albeit with no success so far.
